What's new?
The Covid-19 pandemic continues to affect the live performance schedule --watch SATORI's Schedule page for updates....
We are looking ahead with hope, and currently planning more opportunities to share our music with you at some of our favorite venues --
- The September 18 concert includes the world premiere of a new work written especially for SATORI by composer Paul Salerni -- Three Places in Pennsylvania!
- SATORI's annual Daniel Pearl World Music Day concert is scheduled for October 23, 2022, at Allentown's Congregation Keneseth Israel, part of a world-wide month of performances supporting the Daniel Pearl Foundation's goal of international understanding and communication through music.
- More concerts -- November 20, 2022 a trio of flute, classical guitar, and cello will perform at Pottsville's Trinity Episcopal Church; on March 25, 2023 SATORI will perform at Christ Lutheran Church in Allentown, and SATORI's Spring Celebration will be April 23, 2023 at Easton's College Hill Presbyterian Church.
All of SATORI's musicians are fully vaccinated, and we encourage our audience members to be vaccinated as well. At SATORI performances, any Covid-related restrictions in place at the host venue will be followed.
SATORI ontinues to offer a wide selection of in-school educational performances, including extended or mini-residency projects, student master classes, assemblies, classroom programming, and more.
SATORI has now recorded three full-length CDs, all still available here. Proceeds are used to support in-school programming and the Gift of Music instrument donation project.
In 2022-2023, SATORI's Gift of Music project will continue to focus on public schools in the Allentown School District and the Bethlehem Area School District. Currently SATORI has donated a total of over 700 band and orchestra instruments to 54 different schools and music programs locally.
