MARY OGLETREE, violin

earned degrees in violin performance and pedagogy from the University of Michigan and the University of Kentucky. She taught at Ohio Northern University, San Francisco State University, and Kutztown University, where she was a professor of violin/viola and music theory. For many years, Dr. Ogletree served as concertmaster of the Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra and was a frequent soloist on the summer Valley Vivaldi concert serie. Currently she plays regularly with the Bach Festival Orchestra and Allentown Symphony. She has performed in England, Scotland, Germany and Italy as well as across the United States, both as a soloist and in orchestra and chamber ensemble settings.
