Deborah Davis, Cello

DEBORAH DAVIS, cello

is a graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts and the Hartt School of Music, and also attended the Paris Conservatory, where she was awarded a First Medal. She earned her Master's of Music in Cello from Indiana University School of Music, receiving the coveted Performer's Certificate for outstanding solo performance. Debbie has played with the Houston Symphony Orchestra and the Iceland Symphony Orchestra, and taught at both the University of Notre Dame and the Reykjavik Conservatory. Locally, she is principal cellist of the Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra, teaches a large private studio, and is the founder and director of MADCAP Music Camps, offering over a decade of summer music programs for young people in the Allentown area.
