MICHAEL LOCATI, violin/viola,
is a graduate of the St. Louis Conservatory and Rutgers University, where he studied with the Guarneri Quartet’s Arnold Steinhardt. He has won numerous awards in viola performance, and has performed as first violin in Canada’s Tristan String Quartet and the Petra String Quartet, in addition to serving as Artist-in Residence at Canada’s Shaw Festival and the Pundaquit Chamber Music Festival in the Philippines. Michael has taught at Moravian College, Seton Hall University, and Kinhaven School of Music, is the violinist with the Lukens Piano Trio, and performs regularly throughout New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania as both a chamber musician and soloist.
