PAUL
ROSTOCK – bass
has been on the music faculty
at Bethlehem’s Moravian College
since 1991 as an instructor of double bass and bass guitar, and also directs
jazz ensembles, teaches jazz history and improvisation, and is one of the
directors for the Annual July Jazz Getaway. He is an active free lance musician,
and has performed with Frank Sinatra, Olivia Newton
John, Maureen McGovern, Perry Como, Joel Grey, Sandy Duncan, John Davidson and Steve
Allen. On the jazz stage, Paul has appeared with Stanley Turrentine,
Urbie Green, Bob Dorough,
Maynard Ferguson, David Fathead Newman, Clark Terry, John Coates, Bobby Watson,
Ellis Marsalis, Al Grey, Buddy Childers, Carl Fontana
and Bill Watrous. Paul also tours and records with
vocalist Frank Sinatra Jr. and his orchestra, and has
performed annually at the Delaware Water Gap Celebration of the Arts jazz festival
in his hometown of Stroudsburg,
PA.
