DAVID
MOULTON – Cello
received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in performance
from the University
of Michigan. He has
played as associate principal cellist in the Toledo Symphony and Symphony Nova
Scotia, and principal cello in the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra, where he
performed orchestral and chamber music concerts on all the Hawaiian islands. As
a fellowship holder at the Aspen Music Festival, he served three seasons as
principal cellist of the Aspen Chamber Symphony, and has also played at the Colorado and Spoleto,
Italy Music
Festivals. David is currently active as a member of the Opera Company of Philadelphia
Orchestra, is principal cellist of the Allentown Symphony, and performs with
the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic. He teaches cello at Moravian College,
Bethlehem, and
performs regularly as a chamber musician with the Moravian String Quartet and
the Lukens Piano Trio.
