CANDICE MOWBRAY, guitar

earned her Doctorate of Musical Arts in classical guitar performance at Shenandoah Conservatory, where she studied guitar with Dr. Glenn Caluda. Also influential were private lessons with Berta Rojas, and master classes with numerous international concert artists including Sharon Isbin, Angel Romero, Roland Dyens, and Ricardo Cobo. She currently enjoys an active performance schedule as a soloist and chamber musician in the Greater Washington DC area, and has played at the Ibero-American Guitar Festival, the Bethlehem Guitar Festival, the Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society Series, and many more. Candice has taught at a number of schools, colleges and universities in the greater Washington DC and Mid-Atlantic region, most recently Hagerstown Community College, the St. James School, and Shenandoah University Conservatory of Music.
