ADRIANA LINARES, viola

earned her Bachelor of Music degree from Indiana University, and her Masters degree from Temple University, where she studied with Roberto Diaz. Her recent solo engagements include the Carnegie Hall American premiere of Venezuelan composer Modesta Bor’s Sonata. She has also performed as featured soloist with the Virtuosi de Caracas, the Middletown Symphony, the Illinois Philharmonic and the Philadelphia Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra. She teaches at Kutztown University, and is the founder and Director of the ArCoNet music program in North Wales, PA. In addition, Adriana performs as acting assistant principal viola with the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra, the Philadelphia Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, and the Pennsylvania Sinfonia, is a founding member and violist with the Dali Quartet, and is Principal Viola in Philadelphia’s Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra.
